opening 2 windows fully

I have just bought a 19" tft screen moniter
My old one was a 15"
I need to compare 2 windows
I thought with a bigger screen you would be able to open them both fully side by side but I do not seem to be able to
Any one know how to ?

Doesn't work like that. One will always fill the screen even if it was 30".
You will have to reduce each one to half the width and move them side by side. The benefit is they will still be a lot larger than on a 15".

If there is stuff say on the left hand side of one screen which you not need to look at can you make that disapear and then drag over what you do want to look at ?

To view two windows side by side, just do the following:

    1. Open the two windows you want to view
    2. Click on the first window in the task bar
    3. Hold down Control and click on the second window in the task bar
    4. Right click on one of the task bar windows and select either "Tile Horizontally" or "Tile Vertically"

    Hope this helps! :-)
