morning folks - have been awol again, I am such a bad crafter/blogger/mse'r and pretty much everything else. I didn't even get round to entering the last card comp which I understand was won by Sadie - congrats to you, and looking forward to the next challenge which I will prob also not get round to entering.
Only read the last few post (now there's a surprise....) and noticed that some kindly sould has posted a link to promarkers. Just in case anybody has not started collecting those, you may be interested in the new Spectrum Noir markers which Crafter's companion have been invovled in producing. And there is a new style of pen being introduced from Letraset, called flexmarkers, which are being launched as Pick of the Day on IW on Tuesday.
Just sayin'......:beer:0 -
Hi ladies,
Haven't been on much over the last few days as I still have a poorly little girl. Not as bad today though, her temp is not so high and she's not so clingy. Finally after much deliberation I got round to deciding what to set as the next challenge...........
'Animals'
Sorry it's took so long to decide lol! Can't wait to see what you all come up with.0 -

I'm back! I haven't been up to much recently, I've been rushed off my feet with social events :rotfl:
please can I enter? do I just make a card with the animal theme, then put onto my much neglected blog?
I'm off to catch up now and check out all your blog updatesIf you aim for the moon if you miss at least you will land among the stars!0 -
Welcome back Helen0

Hi Helen and everyone else x
Sadie, thank you for the challenge x
My nan was admitted into hospital again yesterday for observation, rest and tests. They want to do a brain scan to ascertain if she has had a stroke/series of strokes. She is in a poor way bless her
I remembered today that it is my mum and dad's wedding anniversary on Friday so I need to get a card made.
Did anyone else cave in with the new Humphrey stamps? I've ordered 3 as they are doing a 3 for £10 offer so it would be rude not to go for at least 3
Also, anyone interested in the Spectrum Noir pens, Joanna Sheen is doing a fab offer on the packs for the next few days:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

I went for the offer through create and craft, it was £20 for all 6 (which works out the same as crafters companion) but with my membership discount taken off and postage added on of 2.99 they work out nearly £3 cheaper delivered. I wanted the full set, don't do things by halves!!
On another note, went to the craft shop in Thornton yesterday that has the windmill, thanks to whoever suggested it. Picked up a couple of bits, also went back to the Freeport today, got another pair of shoes for work h time, a par of trainers for dear hubby and some more craft stuff in the craft shop, they were all on buy one get one free so got about 7 usually pretty dear items for £30.Life is like a box of chocolates..........you always seem to pick the hard ones!0
