Please send me some positive vibes, my nan collapsed yesterday and is in hospital. The doctors say they can't find a cause for her collapse apart from her age. She is 88 and so very frail bless her. Waiting for a call to find out what is going to happen today, more tests or sendng her home. She is actually 100 miles from home as she has been staying at my mum and dad's for a couple of weeks. Also my mum and dad's neighbour passed away last night, he was heading towards 80 and had a fall a few days ago. I've known him since I was 3. Feel very sad, I don't want to get any older :(

Rainmac, so sorry to hear about your nan being poorly. Hope they find what's wrong and get her feeling better soon. We know a few people this year who have passed away. Sadly, a couple have only been our age, in their late 20's! :( It's horrible getting older, scary thinking about it.

Marg, hope you had lovely time in Italy. I would love to visit Venice, maybe when the girls are older! I would also appreciate a copy of the birthday list. Can I also be added even though it's ages away in feb!

Picnic, that card is gorgeous. Hope your neice loves it, I would have if I recieved that for my 21st. Still have all my cards, gifts etc from mine lol! :D

Happy belated birthday wishes OAP. Sorry I missed it yesterday!

Vic, hope your enjoying your holiday. Sounds like you were apart from a poorly DD.

Still not getting much sleep in our house as my little girl is still suffering. Now got a really high temp and is very cranky and clingy, I can't get anything done! Bloody teeth, wish they would cut through now.

rainmac - sending you HUGE positive vibes & lots of (((hugs))) and some for your Nan & your Mum & Dad. Oldies can be quite resiliant and maybe it was for the best that she was at your Mum & Dad's when it happened so they didn't have the stress of having to deal with it at a distance. Hope the news is positive.

Sorry to hearabout your parents neighbour. I find it daunting that I am the oldest generation of our family.

    Sadie - have pm'd you.

(Sneaks head round the door) Hi guys. Can I sneak back in please?

My laptop got a really, really nasty virus that wiped it completely and it's taken us weeks to get it working again. Missed you all. Just wanted to say hello and now I'm off for a mammoth catch up.

    Hugs to all

Any changes for the lists? - May as well have a general update and re-issue while I'm doing.

Marg - I've pm'd you. as my email addy has changed - although I'm not sure if I'm still on the list as I come in here so infrequently :o

Rainmac - hope your Gran is ok xx

I'm afraid I haven't got any positive news either. We came back from a week in Majorca two weeks ago. Three days later my dad got rushed into ITU with breathing difficulties, and we've been told he's got lung cancer. He's too weak for any more tests/treatment at the moment, although he's now home, so we're in limbo for a few weeks.
Sorry for the moan especially as I'm not here often, and may not be in the near future xx
