Evening all
PONR safe journey, hope you get all your crafting goodies home safe too
We are half expecting sleet and snow here tomorrow and the next day so its cozy up in the craft room time I think. Its only October I am not ready for winter yet.
Hugs and plaudits to those I have not mentioned by name (not intentional just senior brain )

Hope it all goes well for your son CG.
I have one of those, it's called a husband :rotfl: seriously, he wouldnt trust me to pack anyway, he's so meticulous about it, I'd do it wrong somehow (just like I load the dishwasher wrong? *shruggy smiley face thing*)
Have a good trip tomorrow, I can't WAIT to see pics of your stash
I'm scared to think about how much I have bought!!!! I think there is more stash than clothes and I am leaving some clothes that look abit 'old' here lol to make room!! Told OH to throw them away! The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0 -

Hahaha sounds like my OH last year when he went back to India!!!! I have taken jeans, a tee and a sweater out to wear for my journey plus an anorak!!!!
OH just opened his birthday card from me - his birthday is not until 26 Oct but he wanted me to be here when he saw the card. He seemed quite touched and said he liked it!!! I have put it on my whatsit although I have posted it on here a while back already!! If anyone knows any challenges that it would be appropriate for can they let me know!!! Thanks!!The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0 -

Fab card for your OH. Glad it was well received.
Your card may fit the following challenges:
Raise the Bar - Get a hobby - hobby/sport/interest -(music could be his hobby??)
CES Challenge - Make a male birthday card
Craftalicious Challenge - anything goes
If I find anymore, I'll add to this post.

Welcome to the thread Willow. We are a really friendly bunch, so if you have any questions, then just ask.
I need to buy a new guillotine, and spotted a Purple Cow one in our local art shop last week. My OH has suggested I get one with a blade rather than the one I have now with a cutting wheel, he muttered something about you get a more precise cut with a blade guillotine.
Wondered if anyone has a purple cow guillotine, and what they thought of it? It is £19.99 which I didn't think was too bad, but did baulk a bit at the one that had a paper trimmer attached to it, that was £49.99 :eek:2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000 -
