Flying Fresian - Have you got your rulers set up on Word? I guess it depends how precise the measurement has to be but my 'ruler' is in inches and eighth's of an inch. To get rulers to show go to view and tick ruler in the drop down box. HTH and I've understood the question :o

Wifey - sorry I've not much idea about stamping! I've got a vague notion that you could lightly sandpaper it to get a crisper image then babywipe to get rid of the bits but am a bit clueless really so it could make it worse.

    Morning ladies,

I'm doing a card for a friend who wants very specific wording on it. I need to print this off, which is easy enough, but do you know if I can check in Microsoft Word the width of the writing?

Essentially, if the space on the card is 10cm across, how can I confirm this before printing it out and wasting my expensive card?

Put a box on the word document to the exact size you want it, and then change the borders to be transparent.

Happy Birthday ScattyJan and belated birthday wishes Louby, hope you had a wonderful day.

    Good luck everyone xxx

I've been a busy craft bee this weekend and am just uploading my makes. I'm a bit disappointed that I couldn't use the humphrey stuff I got as my printer has decided it's run out of magenta ink, oh well, will have to play with it next weekend instead!
