    Good Evening my crafty chums

Hope you are all having a good night, I am slighty stressed and in abpain with the acid reflux but holding my head above water, so to speak. I need to get onto making some more crafts but to be honest I have lost my mojo again.

I want to be able to make something for my daughter with her if that makes sense. She struggles with her emotions and I want to be able to tackle that.

Any way think thats all from me

not sure if this will help any one but its some dr who colouring pages going to find some more soon so will post any good finds This one is the old doctor though but has some monsters in it

My boys have picked winners for the skech challenge, which have been posted here.

Congratulations to you both, i'll be sending you both something out in the post later this week - I don't seem to have an address for the runner-up so can you PM it to me please.

Louby - that is so wrong of the lady who bought the nappy cakes from you to do what she did - unbelievible.

Marg - thanks too for your card - it is gorgeous, is it one of your computer generated ones? - if it is then you are very clever. Really glad you like what I sent you.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

Thanks flourgirl and thank you for the images, will look forward to them arriving x

Marg, thank you for the gorgeous card x

Zoe, how about teaching (or learning with) your DD something like cross stitching or knitting/crochet? Can get books at the library or use the internet for patterns etc. You could do some scrapbook layouts together and your DD could do some journalling about the pages. How about working together to make cards for DD's friends?

BTW, we are currently running a DT call at Craft Your Days Away if anyone's interested, ends next weekend and you need to enter the current challenge and add DT next to your name. The DT is lovely, very friendly and it is a fortnightly challenge so not difficult to keep up with the work ;).

I have done the knitting/crochet with her and I ended up frustrated so not going to try this again. I like the scrapbook idea and the journal, she could make an ongoing scrapbook journal. Would be a good place for her to add things she loves and to write about her feelings. Will save up some cash and get her some supplies to get her started. Will also google it and see if anything comes up

Doing this as much so as I don't forget as anything but...
if you want to match text colour to one in an existing picture - you can do it super-easily in Microsoft Publisher. Within the text colour option, there is a command for 'Sample Font Colour' this brings up a pipette icon from which you can point to the colour you want to match and it will match it for you.
Sorry if this is teaching anyone to suck eggs - I'm learning publisher as I go along but I love it!
