The sketch must have inspired me as I made a card tonight based on it :D I needed to get that card done this week anyway, so thanks for giving me a prod!

Won't post it until I can take a photo in decent light though - I'm quite limited as I have to use my phone camera until I can remember where I left my proper camera ;)
  • Evening all :)

I made an order from crafty ribbons today so I can't wait till they arrive!

I can't remember whose blog it was sorry! but someone posted a gorgeous card they made and on the inside the card was all decorated and there was a butterfly at the botton right hand corner which stuck out beautifully and I just wondered what kind of punch they used.....yeh its a butterfly one lol but I've spent ages searching butterfly punches and can't find what I'm looking for.....hard question to answer I know considering I can't even remember who made it..:o it was beautiful though!! I loves butterflies I does :D

I'm lying in bed with the lappy with the window open n I can hear Mr. Owl. Very chillaxin.....x

Welcome back ZLS, its nice to see you on here again

Melissa - Glad Tilly is sleeping a bit better. Belated wishes for yesterday. Hope you had a great day.

Ct - well done on winning the challenge. A sketch is a great idea. I have been using a few lately as my minds gone blank on design!

Just off to get the kids out of bed. Teenagers never seem to get up! Oh well, at least I get a bit of a lie in now, unlike when they were little!

    Hugs to all. xx

NEW MSE CHALLENGE FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS

I've thought about the next challenge and it is going to be a sketch one, and will be to follow this sketch:

    CT-MSEsketch.jpg

I know lots of people say that their mojo goes awol for them once in a while so maybe this sketch will give you some inspirations.

The challenge will run for 2 weeks from today, so will close on Sunday 1st of May, and I'll draw the winner on the 2nd.

Hope this is OK, and look forward to seeing all your creations.

    xxx

I've posted on my bl*g with a card that looks awfully like that sketch. If it's not close enough let me know and I'll do another one :D

My big shot came today. I've had a bit of a play. Can someone please tell me how I get the decorative stip dies to work, do I need this for them to go through? Also, should I fasten my paper down when i'm cutting/embossing it with masking tape type stuff?

    It's about 12". It's classed as a decorative strip.
