Sorry Ive been awol again. I thought I would get lots of easter cards made with the kids being off and no running around to clubs each night but it didn't happen and I am really behind.

:bdaycake:Happy Birthday for today Melissa, hope you had a really wonderful day:bdaycake:
Belated wishes to Craftygranny and WBR. Hope you both had great days too.

I've read back on the last page and seen that I won Wifey's challenge - i'm really chuffed so thank you, i'll have to think of the new challenge, so I'll be back later after i've had a think.

Forgotten most of what I've read but Ali, so to hear about your OH getting injured. Hope he is on the mend very soon.

NEW MSE CHALLENGE FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS

I've thought about the next challenge and it is going to be a sketch one, and will be to follow this sketch:

    CT-MSEsketch.jpg

I know lots of people say that their mojo goes awol for them once in a while so maybe this sketch will give you some inspirations.

The challenge will run for 2 weeks from today, so will close on Sunday 1st of May, and I'll draw the winner on the 2nd.

Hope this is OK, and look forward to seeing all your creations.

CT - thanks for posting the next challenge I like the look of that sketch

Right just wanting a moan/bit of advice before I dash off and bath the kids - but I bought a Memento ink pad for stamping but I hate it it seems really wet and cant seem to get even coverage?? I put the pad to the stamp and tap - does anyone else have this trouble - I really miss my cheap and cheerful pad that I used before - and I know this sounds really strange but it is just sooooo black - but I think that is because it is soo wet -(IYKWIM).

Sorry to post and go but hopefully will be back later xx

I have 6 memento inks in different colours, I only have a problem if my card doesn't like it! If that makes sense! Some card keeps it very wet, whereas some takes it nicely and it drys really quickly. Don't ask me what kind of card it is that works, its the stuff that C&C sell and also clickoncraft that works with promarkers.

Edit to the above: The main one I use is London Fog out of the 6, it's grey instead of black and has a nice coverage. I have black, browny colour, grey, purple, and 2 others that I can't think what they are.

Like the look of the sketch, thanks CT x

Ali, I use Tuxedo Black by Memento all the time and never had a problem so not sure what to suggest. I too tap the ink on the stamp, I wonder if the pad you have is faulty?

My son scored 5 tries in the tournament, I was sooooo proud! They didn't get though to the finals but played so well.
