Hey guys and gals not sure if you remember me but I am back lol. Been battling depression for a long long time now feels like forever. Any way my mother has decided that she wants me to get back into crafting and has bought me some new card making stuff today. Just got to think of some ideas that I want to do, but feeling so negative about me and my work so not sure what I want to do.

Any ideas for a fun project to get me back into the spirit of it.

Hey you, good to see you back here :) How about an Easter project? Easter basket or card or both?

Evening everyone - I've had a better day today. Tilly slept a bit better so I managed to get some cleaning done and some sorting out done too! I've just had a bit of a spend to cheer myself up - I've ordered a couple of paper pads, 2 CC design stamps and a Martha Stewart punch. I'm also in the middle of ordering some treats from The glitter pot - I can't decide what to get though!

Ali - hope your OH is okay - sounds like a rough game of volleyball!

    Wanna-b-rich - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Soulie - hope you recover soon! Good luck with the fundraising - a fab cause!!!!

ScattyJan - sounds like you had a great time - how old is your grand-daughter??

    CT19720 - congratulations!!!!

    ZLS1984 - welcome back!!!

  • just a quickpost whilst I'm waiting for the washing machine to finish washing so I can peg it out on the line before going to my monthly quilting group which I should have been at 30 mins ago. Fortunately it's a group rather than a class, so it's drop in and out. not that any of them are drop outs but you know what i mean.

Hectic couple of weeks so been a little awol. Finally finished the sewing for my friend's daughter's dance show. Done the knitting that had to be finished. Had a leaking pipe in the ensuite which dripped through to the kitchen (fortunately not disasterously so) and thanks to a friend who has a "man who can" who fixed it for me for the price of the parts. My eldest son had his 23rd birthday for which I didn't have time to make a card, so he got the legoman card from already made ones - so thank you to "whatshername" for the free digi - I know who it is but I've forgotten her name - I am so useless with names lately.

I've changed my role in work, but we are still waiting on the announcement about the future of the office - will prob hear on Friday 13th May. It's staff report writing time so been doing them as well. And got Customer Service NVQ level 3 stuff to finish by Monday.

But I did make a card last night - pic in the usual place. Didn't get round to entering the last MSE challenge - congrats to CT for winning

Washing's finished - can go out now

    Later folks

EDIT - not that quick after all

    Good Morning!

Sorry I've got a bit behind with posting - Work Life getting in the way plus a nasty virus on my laptop - it's been removed by the computer shop - but it's put me off facebook for a while - I am so careful but obviously not careful enough!! Rant Over and.......

ali.b - so sorry to hear about your DH being injured - I dare say HIS work will be fine about it but seems you'll be taking all the strain. You might need a little spend to cheer you up. x

CT - Well Done on your win :T

Wifey - thanks for a lovely challenge

PepPop - Did you get your order done OK? Thanks for asking about my eye - it's doing alright I go back on 5/5.

rainmac - Well Done one your win :T thanks for the links - hope you have a good weekend with all those activities - where do you get the energy?

Rusty - So glad to see you posting again but sorry things are tough with the children - I guess you being in pain & ending up in hospital will have scared them & it's their way of seeking reassurance that Mummy will look after them. My friend's daughter did that when her brother was born. I'm sure it will ease.

ZLS - Welcome back! Sorry you've been down. Hope the crafting will help. If you click under our names and follow the links to each of our 'homepages' you'll see what we've been making lately - not sure if we were doing that when you were last here.

Louby - Well Done on your DT :T

Melissa - Good to read things are settling down a bit, it's bound to take a little while and as OAP says getting your rest is more important than a bit of dust.

Mind's gone blank - best go & do something domestic, like get food shopping.

Hi Melissa she is 15 months and oh my I have not long got out of bed I could sleep for england I didnt realise how tired I was - it was so worth it, I felt really priviliged as they had never left her with anyone before (she was a little poorly on and off) but they left her with me for a few hours one afternoon and then again yesterday before I came home for a short while - Im sure it did them good.
