Just to say a huge thank you for all the fab cakes and flowers they are wonderful princess k was well impressed i told her you're all going to share them with your neighbours cos it costs too much to post them lol. She said you're all very kind.
Thank you too for all the lovely cards i recieved . I feel awful as i haven't made a card in ages but i will try harder. I'll pop them on my neglected blog later.
My oh took us all to toby carvery for tea there were 11 of us we had a lovely meal and some fab desserts . My 2 year old grandson polished off a whole slice of lemon meringue pie and quicker than his grandad lol.
Rusty lovely to see you back ,

hi
have been following you crafty ladies for a while and have to say some of your cards are amazing, feel i have a long way to go.
i have recently bought a sizzix and bought the tonic punch system to start with, once i have a few more dies i will start getting promarkers and stamps
i have just made my first two cards using some stuff from simply homemade magazine, which i have put on my page, but i have still a lot to learn.
just a quick question when buying promarkers what colours are the best ones to start with
thanks0 -

Hi Julie, I think it depends on what you want to colour. I use pale pink and pastel blue a lot. For skin I use pale pink on cheeks, ivory, blush and dusky pink. Sandstone is quite a good colour, can use it for hair, shoes etc and animals and anything else you want to be light brown. Does that help?
So glad you've had a lovely day craftygranny. I thought princess K would like the princess cakes x:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
I've got myself a nice new otlite in the post today, bought it from C&C on sunday, along with the paddington bear potd, and some more promarkers, plus bought some aquamarkers too. This money is going to my head!Life is like a box of chocolates..........you always seem to pick the hard ones!0

Julie, I've just become a follower, that's me in the tub! Like rainmac said with the colours and it does depend also on what you like to stamp. Check out the blogs regularly and also come on in and ask questions, there's usually someone around and often you'll see hints on a good deal on Promarkers. Joanna Sheen is a good site as you can buy singles and don't forget to download a .pdf of the colour chart from the Letraset or Joanna Sheen. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0

Hi Julie welcome to the thread this is the pack of promarkers I started out with I found it was a reasonable selection of colours which I have then added to over time0
