Making cards - Ideas (part 5)

Hi, being a dad who is more interested in doing things on a computer than using craft, I thought I would share my experience with making my first Easter cards with my children. My wife pointed to the following article on how to make Easter cards. After a bit of arguing from the children on who has the glue anda bit of mess with paint over their fingers, the cards have turned out very well. Most of my time was sourcing where to get the items to make the cards, I managed to get everything from WH Smiths but this added about 1 hour to the time to make the cards.0

Marg, I thought Waking the Dead was good but maybe a bit predictable? The Eve character is definitely in the new series as she was in the clip, not sure about the rest of them? Eve does annoy me cos she knows everything about everything
We've had a lovely day at a country park today with another mum and her kiddies, wind was cold but it was sunny. Boys are exhausted now so hopefully they will sleep like babes tonight :A. The boys are off to my mum and dad's tomorrow and staying the night so I can crack on with my work which will be good especially as it looks like I need a new laptop so need the pennies.

WIFEY - I have had no time to get to the Post Office, but Mr F is going tomorrow/Wednesday so you'll finally get your wee prize for winning my competition soon. Sorry about the delay
That's not a problem, whenever Mr F is ready.

Artydoll - lovely cards (espec the little dog!). Glad you're feeling a bit brighter.
FF - loving the frock card!
Craftygranny - I hope you're not serious about getting rid of your stash? You know we've all suffered a loss of mojo - and that those who have had a major clear out always regret it!
Just posted a never ending card you know where. Does anyone know of any other wedding challenges about at the mo?0 -
Hmmm - do you think I can make a birthday card for my very nearly 23 year old son, and an Easter card before I go to bed. Do you think my nearly 23 year old son would appreciate an Easter card for his birthday (tomorrow).
Will he even notice..........?0 -

I had an order for a nappy cake yesterday and made an easter bonnet with ds when he came home from school which is a bit of a waste of time as i can't see him wearing it and the same people win every year anyway.
I made it on to a DT :j so there is no excuse now i have to get cards done.

Hi all you crafty people out there! Have been using jelly roll metallic pens for colouring in stamping and peel offs - can anyone out there recommend any other pens on the market?0
