Making cards - Ideas (part 5)

Can't you just smell that gorgeous aroma of baby powder, I love it. Couldn't you just eat her, Mel, she's beautiful.

Well, I set the challenge and I haven't made my card yet :o so, if it's ok with every one I'll keep it going for another day or two, say till Monday/Tuesday.?

It's beautiful outside today, just about to hang out 2nd load of washing and then off to take OH to train station (our local station has not had trains running to London for 5 consecutive weekends due to strikes) so as we need to drive further afield am going to take the boys shopping for new caps and some lunch and then going to come home and tackle some gardening. Looking forward to a lovely day and I have some cards in the pipeline too.

Been a while since I posted............not been doing any cards as such ..........took up knitting instead for a change.............lol Then OH had a mishap. He was shifting stuff in the garden and did something nasty to his back..........such pain the GP organised ambulance for xray........waited 7 hrs for ambulance and even then he didn't get an xray..told it was muscular and sent home in taxi at midnight ! Since then he got worse.......had GP out who organised xray and local hospital......result is he's fractured two vertebra and has to have bone scan and see orthopedic chap. Till then he's on crutches and painkillers. I've made complaint to main hospital about his treatment (or lack of) so we wait and see.
So, afraid card making has been put on back burner for now.

Sorry for rant.........:o

Rainmac its lovely here too we had lunch in the garden for the first time this year

Wifey you where quite right to put a ? beside my entry for the easter card, I got side tracked by another dizzy attack this week and spent 48 hours in bed, still so much better now and have posted my card on my wotsit.

Marg thanks for the list it arrived this morning and my ribbon prize from Craftyribbons came too I will get them photo'd asap and you can all drool just as I did

Oh Mary, your poor OH, what terrible treatment by the hospital!!! Hope he feels much better soon and you can get back to normal x

I hope everyone is having a nice afternoon on this lovely warm day.

I got confirmation on Friday that my compensation from my car crash is coming through mid-week. Made the mistake of going to look for a bed, Dreams had a lovely one but they wanted £1500 for it, not quite what I had in mind! I really want one of these, slightly cheaper than the bed anyway!
