Morning all, sorry I have not been able to keep up again!! ...
Well done to the winners
I am feeling a bit better but still exhausted, DD is off nursery today as she has a bad upset stomach, she was in bed just after 6 last night cause she was so poorly poor little thingshe has so far done nothing but cry all morning because I told her she couldn't go to nursery!!
Just quickly but would anyone alter small tins? ... my Step dad is a cigar smoker and his cigars come in small square tins, some are quite thin (think they would fit in quite a few stamped images) and some are thicker. they would need altering on the top and bottom but I have 2 carrier bags full of them. I can take a photo if you want and post it on here or on my blog ... would anyone like a few? I have had a sniff and they don't smell at all like cigars which makes for ease and no one would know that they were originally cigar tins!!
Can I ask what the festive challenge on here is, is it just festive? or is it a colour festive challenge??
Had Bunbun come to visit yesterday, not seen her for a couple of months, was fab to have adult conversation :j ... needless to say I sent her home with loads of cigar tins ... of which she said she would wait to see what I did with some :rotfl:
Hope everyone is ok?
I am also on facebook if anyone wants to add me? My name is Tammy Davison my profile picture is of my 2 monkeys (children)Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Just a reminder that i will be doing the draw for the secret santa (CP) on 18th October, if anyone else wants to join.
Couple of freebies here and here
Does anyone know the cheapest/best place to get a Martha Stewart (or the similar) border punch from?
Another thing while i remember  I am after some of these. Does anyone have that die and be willing to do some for me? I would rather get them from a fellow MSErObviously i will pay for them. I need about 50, i'm not bothered about colour or anything, but i intend to use them as gift tags for my christmas presents.

Morning all. There's not enough hours in the day at the moment so I'm well behind with the thread. I caught up quite a bit with blogs last night but not on here so a shamefaced hugs to all the poorlies, get well soon, and please forgive me for not commenting on anything else.
I managed to finish off one card I had half started so if you're around Flying Fresian my entry for your festive challenge is Snowy in Pink but I will PM you too.
My washing machine packed up yesterday. Got 8.5 years out of a Hotpoint which I think is quite good. Want to see if it's repairable before spending £££ on another one but something tells me it wont be worth it. If I have a new one I know which I want but it's not available until November so will have to speak nicely to d-i-l to go round and do washing there.
I've got another busy day today, not sure what's going on this week! Also we managed to find a dog training place so Poppy's going to school tonight. Trouble is it's an hour's drive away so will be out from 5pm until about 9pm. It's nice living here but everything is sooooooooo far away.
Hope you all have a good day.0 -

Rainmac - Hope DS is feeling ok this morning after his fall. Last time I heard a bang like that, it was DS was coming down the stairs with his laptop and dropped the laptop when he slipped. I think everyone was more worried about the laptop than him! lol. He was fine, but the laptop wasnt. We had to claim on home insurance and had to pay the excess, but at least he ended up with a nice new one and it was better all round. His other was getting a bit old, so with like for like he ended up with one alot better!
Rusty - hope DD is feeling a bit better now.
Hi Tomsmom - It horrible when you dont have a washing machine, when ours went, we used our neighbours. Luckily we get on really well with them and they said we could use it anytime.. and we did! Brought them a really nice bottle of wine when we got our new washing machine, it was worth it!
