Viclespence - hope everyone was ok and you get the insurance sorted quickly. At least you'll get a hire car, which is good. Glad the stash made it!

PONR - where did you get your boxes from? They sound like just what I need.

Gemma - sorry to hear about your mum. It sounds very painful, hope she gets better quickly. Sorry you didnt get the job you wanted. Hopefully something better will come along soon.

Sarah - I agree with flying-fresian, your card is lovely and not too plain, sometimes you can over do it.

    Hugs to all. xx

  • Afternoon Ladies hope you're all enjoying the glorious sunshine? I've been sorting through my scraps again and have been really ruthless and thrown out loads. I'm going to transfer all my ribbons into large kilner jars cos atm I'm rumaging through numerous containers trying to find the right one.

Slightly of topic has anyone seen the new 12 packs of Promarkers? The packaging is fab and I've asked them if they can sell the cases seperately (I bought the wallets which are OK but I have to open each one to see which colour theme is in each one which dements me). The new packages are clear and stack.

I can't remember what I've read but seems like lots of cleaning and tidying is going on which makes a change from spending :)

Giggle - what about name bracelets or using them for letters on cards. How did you get on with the school?

Sarahpowell - hello and welcome to the thread, very pretty card

    The- Wife can't help sorry

    Gemm
    - sorry to hear about your mum and the job. Fingers crossed that 2011 improves for you. x

LOL - I've been sat her racking my brains about which boxes you mean - I was thinking gift boxes and thinking I haven't bought any lol You mean the plastic drawer sets I think!!!! I got mine at Instore - they were £12.99 reduced from £16.99 and are quite sturdy. They was an almost clear plastic with a black top but they had ones with purple top also. They also have a set of wheels to go on them. Wilkinson had some 4 drawer ones for £10 I think the other day but they were completely clear so you could see the contents and I didn't think they felt quite as strong!

Gemma - I didn't realise you had gone for an interview, dunno how I missed that on FB! Sorry to hear you didn't get it but I'm sure it's because there's something better waiting for you. I also have to try to get some work, I've not worked since end of last Jan when my contract at the council came to an end. I then went to the US for 2 months, came back for a few months and then went to the US again for 2 months! I haven't bothered to claim anything either so need to get my finger out now! Hope your mum is ok - what an awful thing to happen over Christmas - not that anytime is a good time for it to happen.

I'm feeling cold today, just undoing some jewellery bits I bought in the US ready to create something new with at sometime!!!

WBR - if you are only joining Slimming World to get the books have you thought about buying them on ebay here?

Can i ask a 'silly' question please? How do Spellbinders cut? Cuttlebug dies have the foam etc, but am i right in thinking nesties are just a piece of metal? do they have a sharp edge? Also do do Nellie snellens do they same thing as nesties?

Told you it was a silly question! lol
