Making cards - Ideas (part 5)

Evening - thought I'd say a quick hello before I go and catch up on the last few pages. Hope everyone's had a good day. I had to make a (very) quick card earlier for my DH to take out with him to a colleagues surprise 60th birthday party. I ended up re-jigging an existing card by attaching a Best Wishes sentiment over the original stamped greeting, cutting out numbers 60 in silver mirri and a peel-off Happy Birthday for the inside. Not bad for a ten minute rush! Have updated my bl*g with a couple of cards which I got paid for!!

Sorry ive been missing everyone. I too am one who has no idea whats been happening here. So i need to catch up too.
Hope you all had a great new year ?
Ive been trying to get up to date with my DT work seems to be here in a big bulk at the minute. With Creative Craft World doing weekly Scrapbook Layouts and fortnightly card challenges. My work load has increased somewhat... Its great fun though.
This fortnights challenge is 'Anything goes' if any of you fancy entering.
Ive finally decided i am going to sell my Craft Robo. The thing is still in the box and it seems such a shame it sitting there not doing anything. Im going to have a big stamp clear out too as it appears they have been multiplying in my stamp box :rotfl:. Think i may list them on my b**g / thingy
Right hugs where they are needed and im going to see if i can have a quick catch up xxfurrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:

It's the magazines I have to stop buying.:rotfl: I was very good today - I went to the paper shop about 4.30 but the paper I was going to buy (The Sun for the 9.50 holiday) was sold out. I picked up craft stamper magazine, but put it back. That's over £6.50 saved from not buying either:money:
Haven't done much reading of threads or blogs tonight (been ebaying)0 -

Oh me too, I'm terrible for magazines. I have Cardmaking & Papercraft on subscription but usually sneak a couple of others in every month and then there's the slimming and home mags. I could stock WHSmith I reckon. Good luck with the ebay-ing. It's free listing tis weekend isn't it? Should get some of my stuff on really.0 -
Well I've caught up on the posts. Not sure if I've remembered everything but well done to everyone who's been organising and tidying their craft stuff/crafty workspaces - care to come and do mine?
Thanks for all the links that were posted and I've got even more things to look at now.
viclspence - bad luck on the accident and main thing is you're OK
wanna-b-rich - good for you on getting organised for SW and all that walking!
CT - congrats on your win and your lovely Saturday
The Wife - congratulations on your new arrival, hope you can collect some cuddles soon
Sorry for not mentioning everyone but hopefully I'm getting the hang of the board.
