Happy New Year to you all - may 2011 be a great year for us all with good health and lots of crafting!!!!:beer:

Congrats to the latest winners also.

Marg - hope your MIL feels better today and your cat!

I bought lots of 29p bits and bobs at Hobbycraft and managed to spend £25!!!! A few were more than 29p but I had about 51 items, my receipt was very long!!! You have to rummage though!! They were still putting things out so worth checking again!

  • Hi all,

This wasn't any use to me, but seemed like a good price http://www.snazal.com/freebook If any of you use clay in other crafts I thought it might come in handy.

If you've not seen the website before, they offer a free book a day, you only pay postage of £2.65. I've used them for ages and check them and www.wotnix.com every day - Christmas presents galore came from there this year :D

I got my book delivered today - really nice book with lots of lovely ideas in it. Will be keeping an eye out for more craft books on these two sites. Thanks for letting me know about this.

Would UKscrappers be able to help, Rusty? Stuff probably won't be shipped now until the 4th, Monday being a Bank Holiday.

Well, I'm back after a 10 day absence  and am still v. tired from Christmas, the little ones are now at their other nanny's house and it is so quiet here even though the dog is back from the kennels. I don't know about anyone else but I've put on afair bit of weight .

Rusty just had a quick peek and it looks like craft obsessions had it, perhaps it's hiding with the spellbinders machine that I want, anyone see one in stock anywhere, please let me know. Oh wants to buy it for me, I wonder if it's got anything to do with the camera mags I keep coming across. (Hmmm!)

    Hi ladies,

Hope you all had a great christmas, ours was good until about 9pm on Christmas day as i got a pounding headache and woke up Boxing day to the worst 'cold' i have ever had, we even had to cancel our Boxing day party we have :( Jack came out in it too and had a really high temperature that he couldn't shake, so i called the doctor who actually came out and It turns out Jack and me have the flu and chest infections! Great start to the new year! We are both a bit better now, but still coughing all over the place!

I have been trying to keep up but i can't remember what i have read.

Flourgirl and Choccy my cards came today, Thank you so much they are lovely!! I love both the images so much!!

Rainmac thank you so much for my secret santa pressie!! I love everything! How do you do the distressing of the paper edges?

Rusty did you ever get your secret santa pressie?

I ordered from Craftworks Cards before christmas and haven't received anything yet, has anyone else had this problem?

I got a Cuttlebug, lots of embossing folders, a heat gun and lots of Martha Stewart punches for christmas :j Although hubby didn't get me any nesties or anything as he wasn't sure which ones to get  So has anyone got any ideas of anywhere that has a sale on them?

And is anyone having trouble getting pas page 2 of Hobbycrafts online sale?

Just caught up with all the posts I missed, so huge congrats to the new DT girls.

TomMom how fab to have your OH home for Christmas.

When my son had throat cancer and had a peg (feeding tube) in his tum I used to liquidise everything including chicken so that he could get the benefit, I still do it now for him as he likes to eat "sludge". :D he can't do a lot of chewing.

    Rusty
and anyone feeling poorly I really hope you feel better soon.

Ive got two resolutions for 2011, one to lose a bit of weight and second to enter a few more challenges. How about you?
