    Good luck for today Wifey.

Dragonllew - glad you have had some news re treatment for your OH. Hopefully this will help diagnose the problem.

I hurt my back yesterday, so am off work today. Can't get comfy at all so no crafting for me for a while :(. Will catch up on blogs instead.

Great link Flourgirl - some lovely cards, and they look pretty easy to do.

Sorry to hear about your back CT sounds like you need to rest today and maybe do some colouring in :) housework would be far to strenuous!!
Those sizzix cards look great don't they, if you look on craftfaries blog you can see the make and take she did at the NEC, its fab! They have the gift tags on a sheet in £land again I saw them last week, they make lovely quick cards. They are on my to do list for today along with a couple of Kitchen Organisers, should I do a photo tutorial for the other thread? I don't wish to butt in it's just an ideal time to take the piccies.

Ooh that'll look lovely - seriously good luck Wifey and speak to you tomorrow

flourgirl Lunch at yours then?? That sounds delicious - I'll bring the hot chocolate and the marshmallows. A photo tutorial would be great if you don't mind

CT sending you gentle hugs - ouch!

My first commissioned card went down really well this morning - I'll blog it tonight - hadn't a clue what to charge her so told her to give me what she thinks... Felt really embarrassed when it came to the money side of it :o

    Hi Flourgirl,

The make and take card is fab that Liza made - can't believe that the santa was made out of circles - may have to have a go when I can craft again.

Please feel free to take some pictures and do a photo tutorial for the kitchen organisers for the other thread. I didn't get a chance yesterday and not sure when I'll be doing another, because I can't sit up for very long at the moment.

You are certainly not butting in, it was your idea in the first place! I bought some tags from £land on saturday, and will have fun making some quick cards. I've done 58 Christmas cards so far, which are fiddly and becoming bored with them taking so long to make!

  • Don't know if it's the same with you but when kaitlyn (she's 5 ) rummages in my stash she always manages to find all the expensive glittery blingy stuff i'd hidden and forgotten about and makes something with them . lol

Hope everyones having a good day. I'm making up es mints and bags of sweets for the craft fair on the 19th

Ah yes, that's exactly what she does normally. Yesterday however she decided to make some wedding cards, not entirely sure why, unfortunatley that also meant that her 3 year old brother decided he wanted to make something too and started stamping robot stamps and covering the images in glitter. he was very proud of himself x:j
Life is like a box of chocolates..........you always seem to pick the hard ones!

Well done on making the card, glad it went down really well. I too get embarrased about money and what to charge friends. I made a card in the summer in the shape of a tomato ketup bottle for a friend for one of her daughters teacher. I just told her to give me what she thought it was worth and she gave me £3.50. I was really chuffed.

CT & PepPop Ok I will do the tutorial with piccies. I think Mary has set up a thread just for tutorials so they are easy to find, so I will probably post it on there.

Glad your card was well received PepPop, I never like asking for the money either. I hope she rewards you well.

My Thanks button has dissappeared again!!!!
