Morning - I finally arrived home last night at just gone 11:30! It was lovely to meet Adaams and Lei-Armstrong (I was glad you both turned out to be very lovely normal people not random nutters LOL), hope you both had a fab day. I dodn't get half the stuff off of my list as it either wasn't there or I know I can buy it cheaper elsewhere! I ended up with a few back issues of The Craft Stamper Mag, some new stamps, a big juicy pad and few other bits n bobs.
I don't know if anyone is interested, but there is a post on my blog pointing you in the direction of getting the chance to win some freebie digis simply by becoming a follower of the new Delicious Doodles Blog. Also my CSN giveaway closes soon and there are very few entries so you have a good chance of winning £30 to spend on whatever you like.
KMS - thanks for the freebies link and can I enter my Sweet Pea Tealight Card into your challenge, please?
Gemm - have a fab time doing your demo, I'm sure you'll wow them all and sell loads.
Peppop - congrats on your commision (I meant to say that on your first one, but forgot to add it)
Rainmac - nice to see you back, glad you had a fab time.
I can't remember what else I've read, so sorry if I've missed you off. Hugs to all those who need them. x0 -
Good Morning!
Thank you for your advice about relieving the stark white round images ladies, I'll have a little play later.
Wifey - I found a challenge to win a big set of Copics last night it ends 14/11 I think, if I can find it againI'm going to enter and will post a link on here. Not heard of chalk ink - I've got pastel chalks? same thing?
rainmac - Welcome back - glad you had a good time - like artydoll says it's been quiet on here so not much for you to catch up on (once you've done the laundry, that is :rotfl::rotfl:)
kms - thanks for freebie links
Choccy - I have a card that might fit your challenge......
I'ts fine & sunny here ........so far.... off to get washing on the line........0 -
Happy Saturday, everyone. I've just been through the house with OH surgically attached to the hoover and the rest of the day is mine!! Yippee
Chalk ink pads. I've got a set of the Tsukineko VersaMagic chalk ink pads, they are the 'dewdrop' style and they are lovely for a very soft finish to your white card, they also make them as Tsukineko Brilliance pads and the ones I have are pearlised pigment ink. They are lovely for giving a large area some soft colour.
Marg, the Copic pale grey I use for casting a very soft shadow is Cool Gray No.1 C-1, the lid looks almost white. I love the Copics I have, the tones are a little softer than the Promarkers and the gray C-1 is no exception. I'd love the link for a Copic comp. Pastel chalks are they similar to pencils? I think Liz at Pink Petticoat uses those. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
Brought lots of goodies from the NEC. I will have to post a picture at some point, but wont have time today as alot on. It was nice to meet Wanna-be and Lei too.
Wanna-be - Glad you got home ok.
Gemma - Well done on getting sat and sun at the NEC. Hopefully you will have a lunchtime to shop in!
Marg - The competition, is it this one, its not copics though, but something similar
KMS - Thanks for the freebies, the penguin is really cute. I have a card for your challenge, but still have to take a picture, so will probably get round to that tomorrow.
Hugs to all. xMay - £251.63/£155, June - £108.69/£150, July - £157.45/£155, Aug - £104.28/£155
Sept - £110.80/£150, Make £5 a day in Oct challenge = £50.50/£1550 -
I didn't realise some of you were meeting up yesterday, my own fault for not having time to come on here, oh well there is always next year.
We were going to see OH granddaughter but his son's girlfriend has left him, bit of a shock as she was only home from hospital a day when she left, I am hoping she is feeling a bit shell shocked and maybe a bit of PND but time will tell I suppose, I don't know when we will get to see the granddaughter so feeling a bit down today.
Nearly finished cleaning then food shopping and then I am going to have a play with my new stash to cheer myself up0 -
