    Hi everyone.

I'm using some stickers that i have printed on, what is the best way to protect these, as some of the stickers are full black they may rub off etc.

Have heard you can get a spray that protects it and will make it glossy too

    Any advice would be great

Can anyone advise please, when I use an image I sometimes find the 'white' area around it a bit too stark, I've not managed to find a way to lightly colour it that works for me. What do the rest of you do please?

I go round the image with an ivory promarker - it makes it looks shadowed. There's a tutorial on Whiff of Joy that shows you how to do the edging with an ink pad and a make-up sponge - here's the link.

Whoo hoo got another card commission - a birthday card for a ten year old boy

Mornin' all! BaileyB, have a look on the Craft(y) Companions or Create and Craft TV websites there's a aerosol gloss spray that might be suitable.

:j Gemm, well done on the new wins, the MSE Collective strikes again. :j

here you go, http://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/crafters-companion-25/accessories-69/crafters-companion-varnish-5139.htm At least you can mix and match with these as Create and Craft have them in sets of three.

Marg, I use chalk ink just to dull the white down or try an ivory Promarker especially with the blunt end. Perhaps try the palest colour within your image as a background. I often use a pale grey Copic, (I'll check the colour when I get home) to outline the edge of the image as well.

    Hope this helps.

Morning ladies. Another batch of beautiful birthday cards arrived this morning :) Thankyou all so much, it turned out to be a fabulous birthday week!!! I got 32 cards!! so plenty of ideas for me to pinch lol.

Well Done to our winners. All of you going to the NEC this weekend I hope you have a fantastic time and buy lots of gorgeous stash.

I need to get my bum in gear today and get something made, I'm trying to get in advance with Decembers birthday cards so I can concentrate on some more Christmas cards. Just in cast I don't get time I nipped into M&S and bought some fancy Christmas cards, they will also do for people who I know don't appreciate handcrafted :)
