    KMS :T:T:T:T

Gemm Are you gonna send KMS her badge or do you want me to?

Choccy Aww so sad to hear about your poor doggie. Sending you hugs.

We discovered on Friday that my uncle died over a year ago - he didn't talk to anyone and had no contact details for anyone in his house so they hadn't a clue who to inform. A lawyer managed to track down my sister on Friday to tell us. I felt so sad for him, noone should have to live out their final moments alone like that. OH did a great job of taking my mind off it, and spoiled me rotten.

    I got :
    A heat gun
    embossing powders
    fluffy stuff
    sakura gel pen
martha stewart all round the page punch
    nesties flowers
    9 embossing folders
    glossy accents

I would tell you how much I spent but OH won't tell me, cos he paid for it all.
  • Well I'm s'posed to be doing a huge pile of ironing and a few DT cards, but have zero interest in either today. So thought I'd pop on here to see what's going on.

    - will keep everything crossed for your hubby, it must be really draining not knowing and worrying

    KMS
    - congratulations, think you'd better get a lottery ticket

    Choccy
    - sorry about your doggy. x

Peppop - sorry to hear your sad news. Looks like you had fun at SECC, all the more enjoyable when OH is treating!

I s'pose I'd better get on with things or the OH will be booting me out! or worse still he might refuse to drive me to the NEC!

I will set the challenge for here when i can think of something! :rotfl:

Has anyone got any idea about how to make shimmer mist?

I have updated my you know what ;) If you fancy a peek
  • Congrats KMS :)

You can make shimmer with re-inkers, water and pearl-ex or for a colourless one you can use pearl-ex and water. I think you can use any mica based pigment powder, but I've only done it with Pearl-ex. HTH

Afternoon all, sorry I haven't been around again ... life is getting in the way!

Sending hugs to Tomsmum, how awful :(

Also sending hugs for those who have had bad news (sorry there seems to be so many of you!!) I hope life picks up and throws you some good news soon!

Can I ask if anyone knows if there are any magazine deals around like the 3 for £3 or 5 for £5 on cardmaking and papercraft please? If not I might have to spend some tesco clubcard deals for a years subscription!

Didn't make it to SECC :( again life got in the way so I am gutted but I had a spend in the papermill shop and bought myself the new owl die from the new range woodland creatures or whatever it is called? also spent a fortune at the glitterpot to cheer myself up ...

Was rather stupid this morning and decided that rather than walk down the stairs like a normal person I would fall down them, result is I bashed my back on every step on the way down, I kicked DD in the head as she was almost at the bottom, and my other leg was bent underneath me ... struggling to walk now :( then I had a HOT & STEAMY date with Mr Tefal whilst DD was at nursery, and it turned into an abusive relationship between us and he burnt me several times! Geesh!

Will be back later on hopefully!!

Can I also remind you that tomorrow is the launch of the new challenge blog from Ladybug Crafts ink! ... you can follow here ;)

Peppop sorry to hear about your uncle, no one should have to pass away without family around them. on the other hand your new stash sounds lovely! I have just emailed KMS her badge ;)

KMS well done on your DT position! you are certainly on a roll!

aww Rusty I'm bummed for you that you didnt get to go to the SECC! sounds like you've been having a rough day, I hope your glitterpot stash arrives soon and cheers you up!

I had a little spend myself last night, at Craftwork cards, glitterpot and ebay! I got my final pay from my last job (for holiday accrued but not taken) and it was a lot more than I was expecting so I think I can justify it ;)
