  • Hello Mad-Frog, well I am now an informal patient so I can pretty much come and go as I want :D

I think she just wants to make birthday cards. We bought some stick-on decorations from HobbyCraft but they didn't have a great choice so I wanted to purchase some more stickers/elements/embellishments online.

Woohoo! I'm normal! Gotta go tell the cat.
  • Need to say thanks to Pads for the blog challenges! Was nosing at your recent posts (love the card!! Looks vintage to me :)) and realised I could enter one of my recent makes into a few of them :) Won't win (never do) but if I don't enter then I definitely won't lol!!

Congratulations winners, love it when people I 'know' win challenges

rbk, lovely to see you back. If you send me your mum's address I could send her some paper, images, gems etc to get her started. It is really difficult at first to know what you like/don't like until you start having a go. I need to have a bit of a sort so you would be doing me a huge favour, may take me a week or so to get the bits sorted and posted out to you as I work m-f xxx

Blimey, my weekend has disappeared in the blink of an eye, 2 kiddies parties, done cleaning, hoovering and ALL my ironing today along with making soup for my lunches for the week and a yummy roast dinner. Going to put my feet up with some colouring and a cuppa once the boys are bathed and in bed. Can't wait :D

Marg, I've ordered a Mazda 2. My OH has a Mazda 6 company car which he hates but I love ;) (he used to have a BMW with loads of gadets and after that nothing compares apparently!) I wanted a smallish car that's cheap to run and it sort of fitted the bill, can't wait for it to arrive.

Can I sneek back in quietly pleeese.....ssshhhh.....

Hi ladies, hope you are all well, I have been having a sneeky peek and reading a bit but haven't posted, not really had anything to say. My mojo went walkabout and everytime I sat at my desk my mind went blank... I know there isn't much there to start with....hey ho!!

I have actually made something for your challenge Padster, hope I'm still allowed, it on my blobby.

Ooooo Rainmac a new car....:j fabulous... just the job to get you to work and back safely. Hope the job is still going ok, I bet you are loving every minute. Your latest cards are fabulous as always.

You have all been busy bees and making lots of wonderful cards :T Well done. Congratulations to all our winners too, its good to know some of you are keeping up with the challenges and winning well deserved new stash.

I'm on a stash ban :( in fact I'm on an everything ban!! I'm doing lots of extra hours at work and trying to save every penny. We have booked a holiday to Cyprus at the end of the year and I have bet DH that I can pay for it myself.....must have been one of my blonde moments :rotfl:When I looked back over last year and how much money I had wasted I was quite shocked  so I'm challenging myself to be good. We will see just how long it lasts :-)

Thank you for your comments on my blog. I have been having trouble with the commenting on other peoples blogs and just getting a frozen screen with Done with Errors. Looking around a few others have had the same thing, I couldn't even read the comments on my own, then someone said to change the comments box to a pop up style so I have and it seems to work. I will try and catch up now......

ETA. No it only works on blogs with pop up comments boxes. Sorry... I hope blogger sorts it out soon xxx

Apparently if you try using google chrome or Firefox it works ok. Are you using Internet explorer? I use Firefox and I haven't had any problems x

Welcome back Flourgirl - good to 'see' you here - I've also had problems with bl*gger - not even able to read some of them! Google Chrome was suggested by blogger as a solution but I'm very wary of changing anything on my PC as it so often goes wrong! Good Luck with your holiday challenge. :)

Does anyone have any advice/suggestions how I change as above and what to expect if I do?

rainmac - I had a Mazda once & loved it (wasn't new though) it was a super little car. I've had my little Yaris for 11 years! I rarely drive it now because of my dodgy eyesight but it's worth more to us as a runabout and it's free car park pass in local car parks than we would get for it.

RBK - good to hear you are now an informal patient.

Liza - Frost hasn't lifted here either (much further South than you)

Padster - sorry no card made yet but will try...... Honest!

I trawl Feline Playful for challenges unless I happen to spot on on my Google Reader list but happy to help :D

Giggle - I got my last lot of kraft card from Little Claire but I've since found this here. Haven't bought it as I'm on a complete stash ban at the mo
