:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:eh we didn't die it's just a pain .
Hugs to you xx:kisses3:0 -
has been ok here today - not as cold as usual.
OH has just driven to Inverness from Glasgow - half the roads were shut and it's taken him about 10 hours - one of the roads sat nav took him on was single track and he only knew there was a road coz he could see the snow poles :eek::eek::eek: He said he was frightened so it must have been absolutely horrendous - he's ok now though.
highlight of my day was a trip to the opticians - didn't need any new glasses so saved a fortune - must have got the red and greens right - always worries me that I might say the wrong thing and end up blind :rotfl::rotfl:Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

We're meant to be driving to Nairn from Edinburgh on Saturday and I've said to Mr Fresian that if the weather is bad we're not going. He plans on going without me - but taking my car!! I might show him your post...
Glad he's there safely now0 -
:mad::mad::mad: This is me at the moment, I went and shredded a large new spellbinder die, I've never even used!:mad::mad::mad: not even sure if the shredder will work again as there's bit & pieces of the die rattling in the engine. How could I have been so stupid????
glad the little parcel arrived, Artydoll.
Oh dear! I'd be fuming too. How's the shredder now Wifey? Think I must have the same model as Padster 'cos mine barely copes with paper.paddingtondoo wrote: »has been ok here today - not as cold as usual.

Padster - glad your OH is safe now - I'm going to have THAT song in my head for the rest of the night now you've mentioned the 'I' word.......... thankfully I don't know the words beyond the opening line :rotfl:
The weather here has been awful all day, blowing a hoolie with intermitant horizontal rain and flood warnings issued for lunchtime........ luckily it didn't happen.0 -
Friesian - he said he would have been ok if the A9 hadn't been closed in front of him due to a multiple pile up and sat nav had a snow setting
- am buying him a good old fashioned map for Xmas now :rotfl::rotfl:
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Glad Mr Padster got home safe, must have been scary though, I won't travel to work if if there's snow about. It's when the car takes on a life of its own that scares me, I'm not in control, I'm a wuss.
Mr Wifey managed to clear the shredder with the old fashioned way, monkey wrench and a screwdriver. It's shredding all my ebay invoices perfectly now
Well done, that man!

I have decided that I shall fret no more about Christmas as I shall be on remand for committing a grisly act towards Mr Wifey, he has decided to paint the hall and stairs
His Christmas dinner will not be my problem

It's a fly-in, taxi to hotel, walk to client office from hotel for 3 days and fly back home job.
Well, snow and high winds allowing! Last time I was up at this time of year it was lovely with the snow until it came time to fly home lol! Then it was a case of cross everything that the plane would be able to take off!
Jeepers! just re-read that, Louise, three day walk to the client's office, they're asking a lot of you, ask for more money!, hope the snow stays away for you. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0
