  • Morning ladies haven't been around much lately between the time of year and been ill for a couple of months :o

Haven't had time to catch up properly just wanted to pop in and say I have been thinking of everyone and the nice people I have met on this thread and hope you are all well xxx

Very windy here today....pretty scarey might be a day for below the duvet!

    twinkle x

P.S could I be cheeky and ask for the list of names and addresses etc to be sent to me again as we had an accident with the last lap top and lost everything :o

Hello just to say I hope all my Scottish friends on here are safe & warm in their homes tonight & please take care if you are travelling in these wild conditions.

Twinkle - will send list later on.

rainmac - Oh your poor Nan - you'd think they'd have cot sides on to prevent such incidents wouldn't you? How is she today?

Rainmac I hope your poor Nan is better now, must have been terrible news for your family, I do hope she is getting the care she deserves

I am soo far behind with Christmas crafting, I have managed to get a few bits done today but I am still  it doesn't help that I need to get most things done by next Wednesday as we are away again this year
  • Thankyou Marg I really appreciate it! x

Its been really wild here although seems to have calmed a bit now.....the neighbours out the back liftng all the wheelie bins up as I type, they were going everywhere but having just been emptied.....less mess to clean up! :j I've just jumped into bed with the lappy, cuppa hot choc and a hot water bottle...oh and fluffy socks which I guarentee will be kicked off before too long!...em I shall leave before I ramble on much more! Stay safe everyone xx

:hello: Hiya Twinks, glad to see you are still about, have a nice PJ day and keep warm if you've been poorly.

Eight hours without lekkie last night, just as I was about to get dinner ready but bacon sarnies (cooked on a little gas stove), cup of tea and salad did us ok. We managed to play crib for a couple of hours and also do some reading by candlelight. :D one of the joys of living in the outbacks of Essex and overhead power cables.

  • Hope everyone is ok - how's your nan Rainymac - my friends mum hurt herself in hospital getting out of bed even though they had put the sides up to make her stay put :o

Glad you got your leccy back Wifey - OH said he was driving past one of the posts for electric cables and it came down beside him - he said the sparks were awesome (not sure i would have felt like that lol)

He's now on his way back but has to battle through snow today - not sure I'm wanting to move in a hurry if the weather is that wild up there :rotfl:

Am on my last day of leave today before I'm actually unemployed :D I've cleaned some windows, given the kitchen cupboards another once over and washed up just so I didn't need to put the heating on :rotfl::rotfl: Am going to do the ironing in a minute and hope my halo doesn't slip down and strangle me ;)
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

Rainmac - hope your gran is feeling better and they're keeping a closer eye on her xx

Wifey - glad you got your leccy back, we had no boiler for 2 days this week, but then it sprung back to life :j

    Hi to everyone else :D

For those that mentioned cot sides - they're considerd a H&S risk, as a lot of people try to climb over them and hurt themselves more, so staff are supposed to do a risk assessment before they're used x

A cold and frosty morning here in sunny Essex, keep warm everyone.

Got a wedding card to do and the mind is a complete blank, I have a lovely LOTV image I was itching to use but it is a second marriage for both so not quite suitable. B*M!
