Nope, only started yesterday, and thats because my son and family are coming up from Plymouth this weekend and I want them to take presents home! I'm soooo late this year, just keep telling myself I will be ready on the day:rotfl:

No! I'm not even close! My only saving grace is that my days of buying half the stock of Toys 'r' Us for nephews & nieces have gone. They now mostly opt for the offer of vouchers or hard cash which is easier but somehow the Christmas spirit has gone too. :(. That said, I'm going to try & get the decorations up a bit sooner than this year.

Thanks ladies, my nan's dementure is so bad now that she is laying in hospital with a broken hip and taking no pain relief as she can't feel the pain :( They are hoping to operate soon, need to phone my mum and dad tonight to find out more.

My DS1 is poorly with an ear infection. He was fine when I took him to school but was very not fine when I picked him up this afternoon. He burst into tears poor thing. Managed to get a GP appointment and got him antibiotics. He's going to have a day with his dad tomorrow and will hopefully be better in a couple of days.

I am the same as flourgirl and waaaayyyy behind with my Xmas prep. The boys opened their advent calendars this morning and it made me break out into a cold sweat thinking about how close the big event is  I need a few more weeks! Haven't made anything except a few cards. I had such grand plans of making gifts but I have made nothing so far :o

I'm glad I'm not the only one behind with the Christmas prep, I just feel that this year has gone soooo quick I can't quite get my head around things at the moment. We have just had the last pension day so I had better get a move on. Asda shop coming in the morning, voucher for free delivery :-)
