flourgirl - Can't believe how quickly your wedding has come round - hope everything goes well for it. x
thanks for the freebie link rainmac
It's lovely & warm here today and I should be doing all sorts of domestic stuff but progress is very slow as I'm suffering with a cold & sore throat that I've had for ages & just can't shift it. I can't whip up enthusiasm even for some card makingthough I've got several that need to be made.
Happy New Car Padster - I've had a couple over the years and liked them as Madfrog says easy peasy providing you don't use your left foot.0 -

Hello all.............apologies for not popping in sooner..........life sort of got in the way as always.
Need to pick some brains as mines worn out............foster daughter had baby girl last Wednesday...........I've made a baby card and put baby's name on it (Lily) and can't for the love of me think of what to write inside. It's more a keepsake card for baby than the parents (they don't know but I'm going to do a memory box for her for christmas)
So help !!! Something fairly short, simple but with meaning.
(Sorry..............I know its hot and brains are frazzled);)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Mary-Op - I always like to put 'Welcome to the world little one' in my baby cards.0

glittermum - thanks. I did wonder about that but I've written a letter that starts Welcome to the world explaining all the strange things that happen when a baby arrives with adults cooing and ooing and such like and more or less what to expect in a funny sort of way.
Did wonder about 'when you arrived the world became a better place'
(mainly because after a c**p year for me and OH it really lifted us up) but open to any ideas:)
No worries..............just thought of something -'Thank heaven for little girls'.........all I have to do now is write it so it doesn;t look like a spider ran across the card............lolI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
