thanks for the challenge, iv'e already preped some card stock to make xmas easel cards so just have to build it together and decorate.

iv'e just had a right old blub! ds1 has just asked me tons of questions about death all thanks to his school reading book where a horse died at the end of the book.

it started off ok he was like why and how do we get old will i be as old as mama but then it got darker
He said why do we die, he didn't want to die, where will he go, will he be on his own, how do you get to heaven, r u actually there in body? is there anything to do once he is there, does he get to come back down if he wants.
he got a bit worried and upset about it all. I thought it best to answer him straight but not too harsh but when he said he didn't want to ever die and he started to get upset it really got to me.

The things that go though their minds yeh.
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)

    Louby,

I know where you are coming from, Alex came home with a book about a street girl who lived in the Victorian ages who wished for a family and dies at the end, and is shows her sat at this doorstep asleep dreaming of a family and her grandmother, It was horrible, I complained to the TA about it, I don't like doing death talk before school!!!!, we have had the death conversations loads ( mostly when I am driving ) and both used to get upset which in turn made me upset and trying to drive, I think they have accepted it now and often ask about family members who are not with us anymore, and that is sometimes difficult for me so I change the subject.

Dragonllew will try and enter, I'm planning a day in the loft tomorrow, Hello everyone else hope your all well

Mad-Frog, I tend to get on better with cards if I make more than one at a time. The making then takes a couple.few nights but I end up with 2-3 cards. I sometimes feel overwhelmed if making just one with the decision of what paper to use ;) I also tend to colour a few images one night, choose papers and embellies another and make them up another. Sort of a little production line I guess?

Louby, what an awful discussion to have :( xxx

Cute freebie Xmas image here x

Off to boys school in a bit for a family picnic. Bit chilly for a picnic so along with lunch I have packed fleece jackets for us all :)

As I am going to be on my feet all day in the classroom soon I have treated my feet to a new pair of flattie shoes, £60 worth, please don't tell my OH, he will flip. Also sussed out some gorgeous boots in Next for when the weather gets colder but don't mention those to him either ;)

Rainmac I have to giggle, me Dh moans if i buy cheap shoes, I'm very heavy footed and with all the problems with my legs and feet expensive is the only way,

I currently have a production line of 10 christmas cards going but keep getting distracted so am going nowhere fast,

Mad frog it is lovely to see them developing it just makes your heart melt, Ohh and the good news Alex's school shoes were where he left them in school, i would have been slightly peeved if his forty quid clarks went missing overnight.

oh well back to crafting I go
