Congratulations dragonllew :j
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Forgot to say we had OH's granddaughter round last night, she was having proper belly laughs at OH blowing plastic golf balls out of his mouth.... Why don't they amuse themselves with 'their age range???)
She is in 6 - 9 month old clothes now but will be a few weeks then she will be in 9 - 12 month old. She is one in two weeks time
For those of you who have no clue what I am going on about she was born eight weeks prem at 3lb so I was going to say now we can chuck her about but that seems wrong but we can and it's fab so:D:D:T

Well I don't know about the others on here but the best thing you can do is look at blogs for inspiration, having bookmarked a load of must do makes. Then when you have lost a few hours and added 10 more must haves to your crafting list your spendy elves sneak out and before you know it you have a full basket
Then another few hours are wasted while you sit through deciding which of your papers to use and there will be some you get out and put back in the drawer cause they are too pretty
Then after you put the card together you decide that you need more ribbon, flower, charm etc and spendy elves come out again
Then when that purchase arrives you have actually made your card and have forgotten why you ordered them and they go in the drawer along with trillions of other must haves you need lol
How some blobbers manage to churn out a different card everyday is beyond me, as you can tell it can take me days just to make one card
CraftyLouise I hope things improve for you soon
Rainmac i don't think you are selfish at all, the whole point in making things is to give yourself pleasure
Off to look at pretty papers for a card I need to make pronto!
What a brilliant description of my crafting method!! :rotfl::rotfl:Rainmac I completely understand about the DT commenting, its one of the reasons why I don't apply for them, I don't think I want the stress! Its a new chapter in your life now and will probably take you a good few weeks to settle into your new role, but its one which you will be perfect at. Have you planned what you will spend your first wage on lol. My extra shifts last week got spent on my new bag
Marg my wedding outfit is sort of black, purple and cream with a bit of silver grey all splashed about.......looks better than it sounds! Its not really a posh outfit more for comfort, I hate dressing up! Philip said the fasinator (sp) looks like a dead giant cockroach  :rotfl:
LOL:rotfl::rotfl:Nice one Philip! I bet your outfit is fab - I'm another one who goes for comfort - must have sleeves, no plunge necks, shoes I can walk in etc.Forgot to say we had OH's granddaughter round last night, she was having proper belly laughs at OH blowing plastic golf balls out of his mouth.... Why don't they amuse themselves with 'their age range???)

Isn't it wonderful to see them thrive? My great nephew was a very poorly prem but he's now 5 and though still small for his age he seems indestructable with more energy than a whirring dervish!
Well Done Dragonllew!0 -

Flourgirl - I had this impression of a halloween costume - am sure it's nothing like it - think it was the cockroach that did it
Am fed up today but at least my feet are warm I bought some new slippers that DD says are old fogey ones but I think look like bear feet LOL! xxOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

i don't blame you rainmac requarding your DT positions i struggle with mine most weeks. There just isn't enough time and i always end up doing it a few hours before the deadline. I could do with one that's fortnightly or even monthly :rotfl:

Don't!!! My sides are aching! :rotfl: As you all know wearing a hat is compulsory for me, OH is really worried about the local free range chickens near here, he thinks I lurk in the middle of the night and pinch their fluffy b*m feathers. He knows nothing about Rhode Island Reds!!!!:D:whistle: Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
