Liza - I heard about that tragedy on the news - how awful (((hugs))) for you & your Mum
rainmac - huge well done to your son, will you let us know when it's published?
Julie - your cakes look yummy - must be the weather I've got an Alice cake waiting for the mix to cool.
Flourgirl - sorry that your village fair wasn't as well 'policed' as the W I ones. I bet your Lemon Curd would have won regardless of the jar.
I went to Harrogate yesterday and had a little spend - nothing too exciting, a round the page punch set, a few pale copics & some LOTV die cut squares but I was disappointed Craftwork Cards hadn't taken the one thing I actually went for so I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet and pay the postage on scalloped edge cards  . DH bless him, walked round the site whilst he waited then had a doze in the car so on the way back we called at Ilkley & treated him to a new shirt and tea at Pizza Express.0 -
Well, it's nice to know that there are still good honest people out there! Site I had my digi stamp issue with have emailed it through with an apology
So glad that's been sorted!! Bright point in what has turned out to be not such a good day as popped out for an hour and came back to find that the dog had managed to get into the living room, pull the tin of Roses chocolates onto the floor from the side and then consume most of them!! Emergency call to the vet, £110 consulation fee for out of hours call out and one very poorly doggy!! At least we caught him in time though so fingers crossed there shouldn't be any problems.

Evening all -
Liza - what an awful thing to happen - there really is no justice in the world grrrrrr.
Marg - Craftwork Cards did that to me once - didn't have the one thing i wanted so I now order from one of the people who stock them - got my last lot from Crafty Emmas and think the glitterpot stock them as well
Made banana muffins yesterday - think I'm finally getting domesticated - DD didn't like them - her loss
Hugs to anyone who needs themOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Hi everyone!
I'm creeping out of lurkdom on this thread. I've been reading for ages and have been really inspired by all your makes and blobs. Over the last year I've been trying out a few crafts and am very much a newbie to it all.
I've finally plucked up the courage to start a blog to chart my progress. It also means it is far easier for me to follow all of you (in the hope of stealing ideas)
I have done several cards but didn't think to take photos. My last couple were made in a bit of a rush and are very basic but are on my blob.
I've also ended up buying some promarkers and have been enjoying some colouring in. When I've recharged my camera I'll try and get some photos up.
I hope you don't mind me joining in. Hugs to all that need them......some tough times for some of you recently2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
