Morning ladies, sending hugs to Artydoll and congrats to georgie girl as I think I forgot to mention them in my post last night.

Just popped to Mr T's to get a couple of things for tea and Papercraft Essentials fell into my basket it has the cutest Humphreys Corner freebie christmas stamps on the front with some sentiments- gorgeous:D
rainmac - oh I bet your son will look gorgeous with his new specs. I dont envy you trying to sort lego - me and the kids spent a whole rainy sunday sorting a HUGE box into colours - that lasted all of about an hour before they all got mixed back up-
Right off to do a tiny bit of cleaning and then I am going to get my sewing machine out (that I think I have used once since my hubby bought it for me for xmas - oops - got loads of stuff that needs doing - so if anyone would like to kick me up the proverbial feel free I need it:o

My plans for today revolve around picking that up and going to Aldi to get the mini sewing machine they're selling to use on my cards too :D

Better get dressed sometime if I'm going to achieve this I suppose :D
  • Kicks for anyone that needs them :rotfl::rotfl: Can I have one back please?

In my defense I have been up since 5 when OH went off racing for the day - really should think about getting dressed in a minute.

Nipped into Staples yesterday only for some small stickers to put on the end of my promarkers and bought some text and graphic paper will try it out in a few mins :)

Was then thinking I really needed to clean the windows but have just discovered it's only my glasses :rotfl::rotfl:

So glad I'm not the only one still in night clothes! :o & in my defence I have done some ironing still loads to do yet.

Ref: sorting lego - DH & I have enough trouble sorting the rest of our 'stuff' (especially things brought from MIL's) it's a good job we DON'T have Lego.:o

Artydoll - ((hugs)) & condolences for the tough time you & Mr Artydoll are having just now xx

Ali.b :T - thanks for the heads up about the magazine.

rainmac - seems like glasses are now something of a status symbol & good for that - when I was a child I was forever being called 'speccy four eyes' or 'lettice leaf' (character in a comic who wore glasses) Any one remember her?
Good also that he only needs them for reading, TV etc as less chance of breakages which were the bane of my Mum's life with my football playing brother who had to wear them all the time.

Dragonllew - sorry you've been poorly - sounds like it's a really nasty bug.

PepPop can I have ZLS's cake please as she said the word that puts you on the naughty step?

Where's my cake mate? Anyone seen her? Don't tell her I'm looking for her in case I have to share ZLS's cake.

  • Whoop whoop I wasn't the last one dressed :j Am supposed to be cleaning out the conservatory but it's roasting in there. Will see what it's like tomorrow (the weather I mean) the conservatory will still be a tip :rotfl:

Hope you feel 100% soon dragon - those bugs can really knock you out :(

Am loving to text n graphics paper too :D

I'll sort your lego if you come and pack my spare room Rainmac - it just needs throwing into boxes :)
Only thing is I might get distracted and starting making things - that reminds me all my lego is in the garage with yet more "stuff" :o
