Well the Visa Debit CashCard+ works for buying train tickets, and at Pay@Pump, was nervous about trying but I thought it says "Visa Debit" so if it didnt work, nobody think its a badged Electron.
So popped it in the machine, couple seconds later; tells me to remove card and fill up to the value of £99!
Wow!
Is this card Offline then?

Cheers for the info - appreciated :T
With the card been embossed plus not saying 'electron' & or 'electronic use only' like all my other basic bank account Visa debit cards I figured it was a gem of basic bank accounts

It was years ago now. I'm all ISA'd up & always have a float now (money savvy/responsible) but, I'd gone to the supermarket spent my last penny practically using the card, gone outside, drew a tenner out from the cashpoint. Then the supermarket put through the sale so made me overdrawnProudly Banking & Saving With:

Over the years I've been overdrawn on my Co-op (electron) Cashminder, Halifax (electron) Easycash.

To be honest its easily done with the amount of times I use my card during the day id never be able to keep up with the all the transactions. Im the type of man who will use my card to buy a packet of crisps :rotfl:Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -

A word of warning to co-op customers: online banking doesn't show any outgoing debit card pending transactions
So if you're using your card everywhere (supermarket, ebay ...etc) & login, it looks like you've spent nothing on your available balance as it only shows 2-3 days later, you have to goto a cashpoint to get a true balance!
Interestingly I've noticed the coop is the only bank that does this out of the 7-8 current accounts I had (basic & full).Proudly Banking & Saving With:
