if its a direct debit, and the wrong amount is paid, you can claim it back under the dd indemnity scheme, you can't with a standing order.0

Eh ? Do the loan companies not enforce you to pay by a monthly direct debit on the same day every month ?
:huh::huh::huh::huh::huh:
they mite do, but i didnt pay by this option, i dont have SO or DD facility on the account, it was paid by internet bank, and when i dropped down the box to pick your account to pay too, i just picked the wrong one, so i was my mistake, not the banks,0 -

i have wrote to them, just asking them to refund it,
thought it might be better to have it in writing,
though i fear it will be a "no".0 -
OP ... Have you been bankrupt previously ? I've never heard of a bank/building society account that doesn't have the facility to setup DD or SD.0
