hi

i just realised i did something silly,

i pay my bills by online banking

and yesterday i paid my loan and my car

or so i thought......i actually put the 2 payments into the loan account...

i was thinking of ringing or writing to them tomorrow and asking them for the money back, as i dont have the money to pay the car now,

or as there is arrears on the loan account will they (GE money) just keep it and refuse to give it back,

so in effect in less than 2 days, i paid over 2 months worth of payment into the loan.....silly me!!! wont do that again!!!:eek:

    If there were arrears on the account then I strongly suspect you are on the road to nowhere with this one.

    It's not in their interests to refund you the money when they already have it from you.

    Not if you have a contractual obligation to make a payment each calendar month.

    i made one payment on Monday, which i guess they will get today,

    and one on Tuesday, which they might get tomorrow,

    is that ok, one in Sept, one in October?

    can you not set up a direct debit every month for the payments?

    Eh ? Do the loan companies not enforce you to pay by a monthly direct debit on the same day every month ?

    :huh::huh::huh::huh::huh:
