Just bought my Sony laptop,wondered if i need all the desktop stuff that come as part of the pre installed package on there.
Can i take some things away and how do i get rid of windows messenger.
this is one machine i aint gonna get lumbered with spyaware stuff and other crap.

You can probably remove most of it, but keep applications for the touchpad and power options.
