Hi There
Would love a study buddy to do my DD100 with. Anyone starting it this month? Difficult for me to attend the tutorials as Im disabled and my local building is difficult to get around-so will solely be studying from home.
Thanks

To repeat what others have said, requires education, to challenge it,
requires brains!

i just passed this course this year it is fantastic you learn so much and start to think differently about alot of things..i did find going to the classes helpful i had a fantastic tutor ..under the disability discrimination act 2004 suitable access and facilities have to be provided for people with disabilities ..however i will say you can pass the course no problem without going to the tutorials..if i can help in any way please feel free to pm me...all the best you will love it..0

Hi PP
I didn't take the course that you are doing but I did a BScHons in Social Sciences and could never get to the tutorials because they were always on an evening or a Saturday morning and I worked night shifts becaause they fitted in with my family.
My tutor was very understanding and would happily help over the phone (and now by email)
Don't worry too much because OU understand that their courses can be done at home if necassary
Good luck and happy studying

They should try and help get to classes if they can, but if you really can not get there then they should not offer you some extra support to make up for you missing out on classes.:beer:0

Have you gone onto First Class yet? There's an OUSA DD100 forum there which looks fairly busy so you should be able to find a study partner there
