This deal offers fee-free balance transfers at 5.9% p.a. for the life of the balance. The beauty of this card is that you can request your BT(s) at any time up to 6 months from account opening, but please remember - and this is vitally important - not to spend on
the card.;)People who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.0 -
Just applied on line for Capital 1 card. Do they normally give decision straight away? They've said they're reviewing my application..... My credit record is perfect (ish
).
If they turn me down I'll...........em......... never try to get an interest free stoozing card off them again - ha, that'll teach them :rotfl:.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Hi there,
A bit of a newbie on here and need some advice. Having opened my first credit card bill in about 10 months, I've discovered what I thought was a £3k bill is indeed slighlty over £8k. After picking myself off the floor I've decided I need to take action quickly to halt the slide. I initially thought about taking out a personal loan to cover it and cut the card in two. However I'm thinking since that the better option might be to take out the Buy & Fly card or one of the others suggested. The simple reason for this is I will be hoping to take out a personal loan in Dec/Jan to finance a car loan (Don't worry I'm not saddling myself completely by debt, I get a car allowance from work).
Can someone make a suggestion on how best to tackle this problem?
Incidentally, I've just noticed I've went over my spending limit on my credit card and think I need to resolve this as a matter of urgency in case this over spend shows up on my credit report.
Would any kind soul like to advise me? Any help greatly appreciated!Nice to save.0 -

right first.I initially thought about taking out a personal loan to cover it and cut the card in two.
All things considered, the Buy and Fly card is probably your best option, provided that you can clear the balance by July 2010.
Let us know how you get on
