Has anyone got experience of Amber Arch payments through paypal? I've done a few jobs for them recently (since late October) and haven't yet received payment, even though it says I'll receive it within 2 weeks on the login page. Are they slow payers?0

They tried to rip me off once. I had a bald tyre and left it with them to replace. When I went back, I paid then as I went to get in the car, I noticed the tyre was still bald. I asked them about it and they reckoned they had changed the tyre and it was just the angle of the sunlight that made it look bald :rotfl:
Complained and got my money back and went elsewhere. The bloke in the little independent tyre place I went to said they'd damaged the nut and he really struggled getting it off. He said they probably couldn't get the nut off so they just pretended they changed the tyre instead and then tried to fob me off as I'm female and blonde!
I went to Kwik Fit for a replacement battery earlier this year and the mechanic stood looking into my engine with a lit cigarette drooping out of his mouth  I left him to it, he can blow himself to kingdom come, but I hid in the office with a cuppa :rotfl:. They've never overcharged me or done a bad job, but then again I usually try to go in with a man because I think some garages do try to rip off women.0 -
I am finding that my MS work seems to come in bursts. Some weeks there are too many jobs other weeks I'm lucky if I get a couple! I am currently signed up with 5 companies (but only 2 seem to give me regular work). Should I sign up for more? Also whats the average number of jobs that folk normally get offered a week?0

This happens all the time to be honest - it really is feast or famine and is dependant on the area in which you live. I can now predict when some companies will have work in my area, as they seem to go on a cycle, you can sign up with as many companies as you like but the number of shoppers seems to have increased a lot lately.
This week I tried to sign up with Gyp only to have my account cancelled 24 hours later (having passed all of the orientation tests with 100%) as I didnt meet the profile they need right now. I shop for several other companies so I know its not because I cant do the job, or that I failed the tests.Free/impartial debt advice: Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) | National Debtline | Find your local CAB0 -
Saw a few people talking about a First Tracking last week so I signed up! I usually try to read a review of the company and I couldn't find any but they've been recommended on here.
About to do my first audit this weekend and I'm really looking forward to it! Has anyone completed an audit for them and have they had any problems?0 -

I'll never understand why Gap terminate accounts. I am enjoying the greasy food recently so I hope I don't get kicked out in the near future. I've also been selected to receive the ever-so-hightech (not) Gap timer but I think I'll stick with using my phone for "texting".0 -

I'm signed up with around twenty companies and find that some of the companies release work at the beginning of the month, then it gets quieter towards the end! Although saying that, there doesn't seem to be much of a pattern with other companies.
Grassroots is one of my favorites: they had loads of jobs available a week or so ago, but not seen any new ones in my area for over a week now. I'm having a quiet spell at the moment, partly due to my other 2 work sources being busy, partly as it seems to be quiet anyway.
I would def sign up with a lot more companies if you want more regular work!!!January 2012 GC £296.96/£3000 -

I was promised my timer 2 xmases ago. Still waiting. And have also been waiting for my pizza test to be reinstated for 2 and a half years. About the same as the speed of their query replies. Have stopped working for them now as they sacked me from stamps and I no longer eat greasy food.0 -
You've nothing to lose really from signing up with more companies. it's not like the sign up process for any of them is anything majorly time consuming.Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700
