Santander Zero : Cash cost

I am ordering around £ 1K worth of currency via the Internet and wondered what the cost would be using my new Santander Zero CC as I`m trying to keep it as low as possible.
As I understand it , there is no charge for the withdrawal but presumably the interest charge starts straightaway.
If so , can I preload my Zero card to minimise the interest charges?
Or are there any other options ? ( apart from a Bank Transfer which would take a few days )
Thanks

Not allowed to pre-load. Might work, but it might not. If you wish to use Zero then just pay off immediately (don't wait for statement). Interest is minimal that way as it is calculated daily.0

Yes, thanks, good point - they will apply payments to balances on lower rates of interest first. The OP would need to clear the entire balance. This should change next year.0 -

Any idea what sort of interest cost it would be for £1k per day?

They are currently quoting 2.045% per month or 27.9% APR for cash. The OP's rate might be different, of course.
On that basis, £1000 would cost about 68p per day.0
