We are ever so close aren't we - a race to the end will be an excellent challenge don't you think? :)

That's a great way of looking at it :D

Does it feel slightly unreal to you that becoming debt-free really feels within reach now?

    Definitely.

I remember when I started out updating my signature to show 8% paid off and thinking how long and hard it was going to be. And now I'm 60% further along!

I'm starting to tentatively plan what I'm going to do come October but I'm trying not to get too ahead of myself...

I get it when I update my signature for how much I have paid off and then remember when that was the amount I still owed if that makes sense.

Go on, share your plans! :) I find it impossible not too plan, too impatient :o

I do find myself getting a bit impatient actually, and I have to remember that £8k is still a fair way to go!

We have been househunting so our debt repayments will be going towards a new mortgage/house renovation eventually, but I think it's important for us to have some form of reward too.

    Up to 69% today.

No spend March is going pretty well. Hoping to have an extra £500 paid off by the end of the month. I'm planning on doing another Amazon trade in box soon, so I need to get DH to haul out some of the book boxes we have.

Turns out I'd made a mistake in my calculations somewhere and so I was expecting to hit 70% today when I've actually only got to 69.27%. Boo hiss!

I've been under the weather for a few days too so all in all not a very good week!
