Cheeky or What!!

I had my eye on two five pound coins, seller had them on at £4.99 Buy it Now, and was charging £3.99 p+p each coin. When i had a look at where she was based, she was less than half a mile from me, so i emailed and asked if i could collect the coins instead, should i wish to purchase. She mailed me back saying, I can let you have them both for £14.99, is this fee avoidance or what???
And yes the lady in the avatar is me

  • If you really want the items bid and let the seller post them to you. Don't just assume that because the seller lives nearby that they will allow you to collect.

it might well be fee avoidance, but realisitically you wanted to buy £5 from her for £4.99 minus her fees and effort...

this is true - as i wouldnt want a complete stranger to come to my door and collect them, AND for them to put a paypal claim in to say they never got them, for me to have no proof i gave them.....
Never do things tomorow when you can do them today.

Yes but surely no one would take paypal for a collected item? It would be cash on collection only.

    Soo

  • So she can make more profit!

I would be very embarrassed to do that.
