Hi All
Been reading this website for over two weeks now fallen in love with the place already. I like the way people are so welcomed and nobody judges each other.
I'm just about to have a light bulb moment
...
Before I do I have a quick question.
PayPlan have been dealing with my finances however I now feel that i have my situation has changed and I'd like to deal with my own finances.
I've been reading the site and I feel up to the challenge and I hope you'll help me through it.
My question is that i had a natwest credit card and it got passed onto Triton Credit Services NW
Po Box 5827
Basildon
Essex. SS14 1XS
They accepted PayPlan's offer of £46 a month which I wish to increase and pay myself. Could anyone let me know how I can continue to make my payments to them? I've tried contacting paypal and im finding it impossible to get in touch with them and everytime I contact Triton Credit Services they are really offensive towards me.
Thanks for any help and I hope to be spending allot more time around here.
Regards
Ben

hiya ben
really pleased you found us here!
I really dont know the answer to your question, apart from to say, you could offer them a full & final settlement, which is likely to be much less tan the debt is.
Hopefully someone will be about soon, in order to help you out a bit more

I think he meant that the credit company are bullies, he said he can't get through to payplan.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

You should pass any correspondence from Triton Credit Services to PayPlan, and inform TCS that you are on a DMP with Payplan and Payplan offer to Natwest was accepted. If TCS continue to pursue you, make a formal complaint to Natwest and tell them that you are being harrassed by TCS, in contravention to the OFT guidelines.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

DFW Nerd # 166 PROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBTS0 -
I just had a letter from TritOn Credit Services passed from Mint and they are AWFUL!
Want full pymt of £3740 or over 6 months (680 odd)...told them can pay £20 and they basically told me too late...my own fault and will carry on with legal proceedings....only got letter today!
Mint were really unhelpful...told me that not there account anymore and would not give me an address to complain to.0 -
Hello - I have also just had a conversation with Triton. They called me (first time ever - no letters received) and said can I pay £2700 now. I said that I couldn't and they said that they are taking me to court. I asked to speak to someone about my account and they said - 'whatever' and put the phone down!!!!!!
I agree totally - they are bullies.
I tried calling them back after getting the number from Mint and got through to the same rude man. I was completely polite to them and don't understand their attitude!
I am also waiting to now hear from them in writing.
Good luck with your situation ShakerSonic - don't let them get to you!0 -
Personally I'd say to write to PayPlan explaining that you want to increase your monthly payments by X amount.
It's great that you want to deal with your debts, but I personally would avoid DCAs if at all possible - if they're accepting a payment through PayPlan then I wouldn't rock the boat.
Also, PayPlan will ensure that any additional money you can pay off is divided amongst your creditors depending on the total amount of the debt - so should your situation change in the future they're less likely to get up in arms thinking you're favouring one above the rest!
