Help with livespace....

Please can someone help - i'm going nuts here...
I've spent the last few days creating a livespace online with microsoft.
Last night i ran ccleaner/adaware/windows defender and now i can't log in to my livespace.
I had to create a new windows live id to create the space and although i have typed every single thing i can think of, i can't log in any more.
I am fairly sure of the login I created and have tried it every single way I can think of but no joy.
I am certain the password is correct.
My id (or what I thought it was) is showing as availble to register? I am desperate to know how to log in. Please help.......

Is there a 'forgotten password' link?

Try creating a new Livespace account and logging in to that to make sure nothing on your computer is causing the problem. Try creating one with the same userid/email address.

There is a fogotton password link but you need the id to use it!
I have already created the new login id exactly the same (i think) butwhen it gets to the live space naming bit, it says mine is already taken and brings up my page...........but I can log in to it! aaaagh.
