Ive been to the jobcentre to change from income support to jobseekers allowance now as my daughter is 11, my money changes now from a tuesday to a friday, so i have to sign on next tuesday on the day i used to get paid, however i dont get paid until the friday now, will the money be backpaid or will i just get the same fortnightly money every other friday, they dont seem to care at the jobcentre how your going to manage for 4 extra days without money.

They do care but can't do a lot about it i'm afraid.
You would have been informed a while ago this change would be happening and the lone parent adviser would of kept you fully informed of all the changes to payments. JSA is paid in arrears, but you won't lose any payments. Ring your lone parent adviser and she will advise you of the dates you will get paid and how many days money you will get. You will still be getting CHB and CB so waiting a few days shouldn't be a problem. You will have to adjust to bigger challenges when you start work and adjust to wages and possibly monthly pay.
