Hi there - Im new to this so please have patience!
Might be a bit of an odd query, but my boyf has an outstanding debt with Barclaycard, and Debt Managers Ltd has offered him a reduced rate to pay it off..... If he pays them is that the end of his debt with Barclaycard or is there any information/proof we should be asking for??
I think he would be happy to end the debt.

If they've offered a settlement at a reduced rate DO NOT pay anything till you receive the offer & terms in writing from them..We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

I agree, I saw an offer once saying if you paid X they'd mark it as partially settle. But then I thought that's not really saying anything is it?Mixed Martial Arts is the greatest sport known to mankind and anyone who says it is 'a bar room brawl' has never trained in it and has no idea what they are talking about.0

Thanks for your replies everyone - v helpful!
So what would his next steps be?
Should he phone or write to Debt Managers Ltd asking for the T&Cs of their offer? What should we be looking for in these, and will that be the end of the debt with Barclaycard? - will he get some sort of confirmation? also, how will it affect his credit file?
Thanks again for your help!Successfully claimed c. £1.4K PPI back with the help of this site and currently trying to curb my spending... :A0
