Moving house when unemployed?

I was made redundant a couple of months ago in the middle of searching for a new home.
We've put moving off now due to this but I still keep in touch with the market and now our ideal place has come on sale.
As i am jobless at the moment would this mean its impossible to move?
There should'nt be any addtional borrowing as its a like for like transaction in money terms and I can meet the moving costs with my own savings...
What do I need to consider though in this situation?
Thanks for any advice

If you're mortgaged and the mortgage company won't port your mortgage to the new property, you're going to have to apply for a new one. That could be an issue if you're unemployed. If you're just renting, there is nothing to consider.0

Thanks -so the only real issue could be the portability of my mortgage?:j0

You may be able to port your existing mortgage, you'd have to chat to the lender.0
