Are P+D tickets just for morally correct drivers? (private parking)

I can guarantee that this question has been asked, but spending an hour both here and pepipoo have left me without an exact answer.
If all private (not council) car parks have unenforceable fines, is it OK to not pay for a ticket in the first place?
I would have thought no, unless clamping/exit barriers are in use thereby introducing hassle into the equation.
I only ask as I have started cycling to work using a train. At the home end I could drive & park in the station P+D run by NCP, but it costs £2.50 a day. If I was not at threat of legal action, what's to make me pay for a ticket... apart from a moral decision?

Definitely not, someone owns the land and deserves to be remunerated if you park there, even NCP. What we don't agree with are made up rules which they ofttimes come up with to prise more money out of your wallet.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

That's fine. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's considered the point of these companies doing what they do.

No. In a paid for parking car park the provider is offering you a service for a remuneration. It is only fair you pay that.
As PtP says, we may object to the activities of PPC's but we never condone abusing anyones parking facilities."There's no such thing as Macra. Macra do not exist."
"I could play all day in my Green Cathedral".

The landowner deserves to be paid a reasonable amount of money for allowing their land to be used for parking, its when the ppc decides you have broken one of their rules and tries to charge an obscene amount of money for this that people object.
For example, if you overstay in a car park that charges £2 for 2 hours for 10 minutes what is the loss ? Well its actually about 20p , the ppc wants to charge you circa £40-£80 if paid within say 14 days, or £100+ after that, now that is a penalty that is not legal. If its a free car park there is no loss.
It is money savings website, but lets save money not at the expense of others, even the likes of tesco has the right to make money, by using their car parking facilities inconsiderately blocks a space for a customer, so they get scamming ppc's in to lurk in their car parks.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
It's up to you.
If I started receiving threatening junkmail from a company, I'd certainly never pay them a penny for anything.0
