What's the dress made of? Are there any particular rough bits on the bag or was it the sequins that caused the damage?

  • Sequins are notorious for being a bit sharp sometimes. I bought a sequin vest last year and wore it to a party. I actually had lots of little cuts on my arms where they had grazed the sides on the top. I haven't worn it since!

I do also have a sequin bag, but its a clutch. I wouldn't wear one over the shoulder. Is your bag a little bag or a shoulder bag?
  • itsa an over shoulder bag........ am gutted about my dress

I had problems with sequins on a party dress I bought my daughter last year. Where the fabric had been folded round the arm holes, some of the sequins hadn't folded and were causing a rough edge that was scratching her armpit. I trimmed those seqins off and the dress was fine after that.

Are there any edges like that where you could trim the offending sequins off the bag?
Here I go again on my own....

I don't think you have much perogative to complain to Next, as wearing a sequin bag next to a delicate dress is asking for trouble and snags!!

I'd put it down to experience!!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
  • I wouldnt say the dress is from delicate fabric tho...... its not silk or anything like that..... hmmm
