Sure start maternity grant

I'm just wondering if anyone has applied for one recently and if so how long did it take to be processed and paid out?

I sent my form off last tuesday and as yet they have still not received it (well it's not showing on their system so they aven't had it/looked at it yet) I'm pretty sure they have received it as i sent another form off to the social fund dept and that has been received processed and i've had a letter back from them already about that.

I'm just curious and impatient as i was hoping it would be here by today/tomorrow so i can go and get everything we need on saturday.

Mine was posted on Friday 17th and got a letter on Monday saying it was going to be paid and it was paid into my bank yesterday

i sent mine off on the same day as you and have phoned today and they have told me that they havent recived my form yet either
