Got Myself Worried

Well, I just took a call from some company called TLC claiming to be representing MBNA.
I was cought off gaurd, and ended up giving them my details:eek: . Was a nice girl on the phone and it all sounded legit, but now I'm a little worried as I don't usually give out any information over the phone. She left me a number to call back, 02392 942158.
Has anyone else any experience with this company?

Your best bet would be call to MBNA themselves:
a few numbers to chose from. Try this one: 0800 062 0620 -
I believe TLC is called 'The Listening Company'. They're based in portsmouth - they operate a number of call centre type programs from their one office. My girlfriend did a few weeks temping there selling Manchester United TV through sky.
They are legit and i'd imagine MBNA have employed them to do some research - best to check first though.

Just noticed that they list MBNA as a client on the home page.0 -
Thanks guy's. I have just searched their number on google, and it looks like loads of people have been getting these calls. They mentioned sky, o2, and mbna, all of which are on that ^^ homepage.
I feel much better, thanks.0 -
When you say "gave them my details" - how much detail did you go into? What sort of information did they ask for?0

Remember not to give any personal info through a phone call...no matter what...
You can ask their no, then call back (of course if the no is a local or national rate...)0 -

Well, not too much I don't think. Mostly just Job, Income ect.. I didn't give any banking details or anything like that.
All of what they asked were things that I have put into online serveys before.
I think I'm OK... Aren't I... Don't start me worrying again.0 -
decanay - as you can see from ddavis' post above, and by visiting the link he provided - they are a genuine company.
I know someone who used to work at MBNA & they confirmed that this company is genuine.0
