Cold Callers

I welcome the energy suppliers announcement that they will respect "No Cold Callers" signs (see latest Money Tips email). I've had one for a while now. In fact I created a notice with the "if you still knock, you are agreeing to pay for my time at the door" which I think I first saw on MSE.
I think it will take time for them to learn to look for notices before they knock, rather than knock first and then look. The first few times that I heard a knock and then saw the caller leaving (once actually running away!) I thought it was funny. I'm beginning to tire of the joke now. The downside is that I've no idea who they are calling for and so cannot complain.
