Help with Currys and their product support

Hi all, please help if you can?
Currys took my TV away for repair on the 4th September as I had a product support agreement and the on and off switch had broken. They had it for a week and a half when they phoned to say it was fixed and wanted to arrange delivery back. I arranged it for the Sunday the 19th Sepetember for between 7:30 and 11:30. At 10:15 that morning they phoned to say it hadn't gone on the lorry as they weren't certain where it was but not worry because they would look for it that day and phone me the following day to arrange delivery again. Two days went by with no answers and I spoke to someone who did a write off report to get me a replacement but that had to be authorised by head office. A week went by with no answers on any front as to where my TV was or whether I could have a replacement. Then I found out that that head office have emailed the departments that have lost the tv to ask them to look for it again a week and a day after they lost it and were supposed to be looking for it. I am now at 25 days since they picked up my tv and now apparently I have to wait for them to make a decision as to hows fault it is before they can issue a voucher for replacement because they need to put the cost in the right department. No matter how many times I tell them they are breaking consumer rights and what they are doing is with holding my property and amounts to nothing more than stealing I'm getting nowhere!
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!

Are you on a 21 or 28 day Whateverhappens? I had a similar one recently, took a week or so, but a replacement was eventually given and the TV remained in the depths of Southampton delivery centre. I don't even know where you live, but I guess it's in the South - the delivery centre is in the middle of moving, and is currently operating out of the Hedge End megastore.
Give them a call (or go into store and get them to) to hurry them along. It will happen pretty soon, I'd expect.Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
Now 20% cooler0 -

I am on a 21 day policy that I took out 4 years ago. They just keep telling more lies everytime I phone. This evening they have told me that they haven't "lost" my TV, they know where it is but they've just got to find it?!?! Which translates as we don't know where it is, we have lost it and are trying to apportion blame and need to stall you in the mean time.
And you are bang on, I live in Dorset and the Southampton HUB have lost it!!
Thanks for your advice0
